What it is

FairLease is a parametric insurance experience focused on flight delays/cancellations. A traveler pays a premium and an insurer locks coverage capital; then Chainlink CRE settles the policy automatically from external flight data plus AI-assisted reasoning, and writes the final verdict onchain in Sepolia.
The V3 model is insurance-first: tiered payouts (Tier 1 = 50%, Tier 2 = 100%) are enforced onchain, claims are auditable, and reserve/pricing decisions are supported by portfolio simulation. This removes manual claims friction and gives transparent, programmable risk transfer.

How it Works

  • Frontend: Next.js (create policy, fund pools, settle, claim, dashboard, simulator).
  • Contracts: Solidity on Sepolia (PredictionMarketV3 with tiered settlement + claim logic).
  • Chainlink CRE Workflow: TypeScript/WASM handlers for HTTP + EVM log triggers, external oracle integration, Gemini decisioning, deterministic fallback when AI is rate-limited, and onchain report writing.
  • Data/ops: flight oracle endpoint, portfolio analytics from observed risk datasets, and optional privacy path via confidential HTTP.
