InstacrAIdit

An AI-powered blockchain mobile platform that automates the loan approval process for savings groups

CRE & AI

What it is

The Project Objective:
This project aims to provide an AI-driven agent that offers a faster, more transparent, and hassle-free loan approval process for savings groups

The Problem:
The current loan approval process for savings groups faces numerous challenges:

  1. Lengthy/slow and cumbersome process
  2. Lacks transparency:

The Solution:
The project aims to provide an AI agent that allows for faster, more transparent, and hassle-free loan approval process on the blockchain for savings groups through:

  1. Clearly defining the loan approval criteria for increased transparency
  2. Instant loan approvals triggered by smart contracts for loan applicants that meet the preset loan qualifying criteria
  3. Real-time disbursements of approved loans to applicants registered mobile money accounts
  4. Automated collateral management and timely repayment of loans
  5. Real-time tracking and communication on loan application status
  6. Creating permanent and decentralized credit history for loan applicants
  7. Empowering members to access credit across institutions

How it works:

  1. The Savings Group sets loan rules on the blockchain
  2. Member requests loan
  3. Chainlink CRE triggers AI agent
  4. AI agent evaluates eligibility and risk
  5. CRE verifies output
  6. Smart contract auto-approves or rejects
  7. Repayments are fed back into the AI agent via CRE

How it Works

The project is built using Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE). CRE hosts smart contracts, ensures immutability, transparency, and decentralized execution. CRE orchestrates off-chain AI execution, verifies data, and securely delivers results on-chain. Chainlink Oracles listen to blockchain events, fetch external data, and execute callbacks. The AI agent evaluates loan eligibility, risk, and repayment probability. Chainlink Adapters validate external data before AI processing.
