What it is

Stockballer is a sports finance platform that tokenizes athlete performance into liquid Real-World Assets (RWAs). By bridging live sports data with decentralized finance, we allow fans to trade player tokens whose values fluctuate in real-time based on actual match statistics. We leverage the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) to power a decentralized price oracle and an AI-driven prediction market, creating a transparent, verifiable ecosystem where sports fans become sports investors.

What it is:
A decentralized "Institutional Athlete Oracle" that combines RWA tokenization, AI match intelligence, and prediction markets.
How it works:

  1. Price Discovery: A Chainlink CRE workflow pulls live match data from external APIs (API-Football). Multiple nodes compute player valuations using a proprietary performance formula and reach consensus before updating token prices on-chain.
  2. AI Intelligence: An integrated GPT-4 model analyses team form and injuries to generate score predictions, which are cryptographically recorded on our PredictionMarket.sol contract.
  3. Investment & Betting: Users can trade athlete tokens or place wallet-linked bets against AI predictions, with all settlements and rewards handled trustlessly by smart contracts on Base Sepolia.
    Problem it solves:
    Traditional sports apps (betting/fantasy) are "black boxes" with centralized data and opaque pricing. Fans have no real ownership, and there is high risk for data manipulation. Stockballer solves this by providing a transparent audit trail for every price movement and prediction, moving the $500B sports industry away from speculative gambling toward verifiable asset investment.

How it Works

The project is built on a hybrid architecture designed for speed and security:

  • Blockchain: Deployed on Base Sepolia (L2) for high-speed, low-cost transactions.
  • Oracles: Chainlink CRE (TypeScript) handles both the Price Oracle workflow (data ingestion/computation) and the AI Prediction engine.
  • Smart Contracts: Developed in Solidity, featuring ProSpectVaultV2 for RWA trading and PredictionMarket.sol for on-chain betting and settlement.
  • AI Integration: GPT-4 is utilized within the Chainlink workflow to provide decentralized match analysis.
  • Technical Stack: Node.js backend, Prisma/MongoDB for database persistence, and API-Football for real-time sports data.
  • Authentication: Wallet-linked identity for all trading and betting activities.
