WARMAY
AI-powered maternal mortality prevention platform for Bolivia using Chainlink CRE, WorldID and on-chain health alerts.
What it is
WARMAY is a decentralized platform designed to reduce maternal mortality in Bolivia by combining real-world health data with blockchain infrastructure. It uses Chainlink's Cross-chain Real-world Events (CRE) to trigger on-chain alerts when pregnant women in rural areas miss critical prenatal checkups. Identity verification is handled through WorldID to ensure unique, privacy-preserving patient registration. Claude AI processes incoming health reports and classifies risk levels, which are then encoded into smart contract state. The system enables community health workers to submit reports via a mobile-friendly backend, while the blockchain layer ensures data integrity and automated escalation of high-risk cases to medical authorities.
How it Works
- Smart Contracts: Solidity on Avalanche Fuji testnet, handling patient registration, risk alerts and escalation logic
- Chainlink CRE: Used to ingest real-world health event data and trigger contract state changes based on off-chain reports
- WorldID: Privacy-preserving identity verification to register patients and health workers without exposing personal data
- Claude AI (Anthropic): Processes natural language health reports submitted by community workers and classifies maternal risk levels
- Backend: Node.js + Express REST API connecting health workers to the smart contract layer
- Frontend: React-based dashboard for health workers and administrators
