These terms and conditions and event attendee waiver and release of liability (these “Terms”) govern your registration, attendance and participation in Link:NYC 2026, which may include certain optional external events and activities (together, the “Conference”).
By registering for the Conference, you agree to these Terms, which form a binding legal contract between SmartContract Inc. (“Chainlink Labs”, “we”, “us” and “our”) and the registered attendee or participant (“Attendee” or “you”). If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person attending is aware of these Terms and accepts them. By completing the registration on behalf of another individual you are warranting that you have made the attendee or participant aware of these Terms and that they have accepted these Terms.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to modify these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will provide you with notice of such changes by sending an email, providing a notice through the Link:NYC website or by updating the date at the top of these Terms. Unless we say otherwise in our notice, any modifications are effective immediately, and your continued attendance at the Conference will confirm your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the amended Terms, you must not attend the Conference.
1. General
1.1 Admission. Your registration entitles you to admittance to the Conference. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance (including without limitation travel, meal, and accommodation expenses) shall be borne solely by you, and Chainlink Labs shall have no liability for such costs.
1.2 Use of Likeness. By attending the Conference you acknowledge and agree to grant Chainlink Labs the right at the Conference to record, film, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to Chainlink Labs includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media without payment. By attending the Conference, you further acknowledge and agree that photographs or video footage in which you appear may be used by Chainlink Labs in marketing and promotional materials, including but not limited to the Conference website, social media channels, email communications, print materials, and future event promotions.
1.3 Conference Content. You acknowledge and agree that Chainlink Labs, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Conference with or without prior notice, including but not limited to, the Conference name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time.
1.4 Age Requirements. No one under the age of 18 is permitted to attend the Conference. By attending the Conference you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old, can form a legally binding contract online, and have the full right, power and authority to enter into and comply with the obligations under these Terms.
1.5 Identification. Attendees must provide a valid government issued photo ID at registration in order to collect registration materials. Unless you are an exhibitor or group who has arranged for an advance group pick up of badges, individuals must collect their own individual Conference badge. Attendees must register for and attend the Conference in their true, legal name and true affiliation (employer, project, etc.); Attendees who present false or misleading identification or affiliation may be removed from the Conference and barred from attending future events, at the sole discretion of Chainlink Labs.
1.6. Use of Company Logo. By registering for the Conference, you agree to allow Chainlink Labs to use your registered company logo for marketing purposes. This includes displaying your logo on the Conference website, social media, and marketing materials. Chainlink Labs may adjust the size, format, or placement of your logo as needed. You confirm that you have the authority to grant this permission and that it does not violate any third-party rights. If you do not wish to have your company logo displayed on the Conference website, social media or marketing materials, then, please contact Chainlink Labs at linknyc@chain.link.
1.7 Attendee Badge Usage. For security and safety reasons, badges must be worn at all times in Conference areas and may not be sold, traded, transferred, exchanged or shared with other individuals or groups.
2. Fees
[If applicable] 2.1 Payment. Registration fees are subject to change. The payment of the applicable fee(s) for the Conference is due upon registration at the then current rate(s). If such payment is insufficient or declined for any reason, you will be refused admittance to the Conference and Chainlink Labs shall have no obligations of any kind owed to you.
2.2 Promo and Discount Codes. Chainlink Labs will void promotional and discount codes if the Attendee is not the authorized user. Your registration will be “pending” until the appropriate fee has been paid. If you register using a rate that is not applicable to you, you hereby give Chainlink Labs the right to charge your credit card for the difference upon notice that Chainlink Labs does not agree with your selection of the special or discounted rate. All determinations of the discounted/special rates are at the sole discretion of Chainlink Labs.

Once you have received your badge, it cannot be changed, substituted, or reissued to a different person. By registering for a complimentary or paid Conference badge you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, exchange or share your complimentary code or badge. If Chainlink Labs determines that you have violated these Terms, Chainlink Labs may cancel your badge(s), restrict your Conference access, retain any payments made by you and ban you from future Chainlink Labs conferences. By attending the Conference and accepting your badge, you acknowledge that Chainlink Labs and its authorized technology partners may collect data about your presence, movement, and interactions through your badge. This may include: (i) location and movement tracking to record movement between sessions, zones, or exhibit areas and duration of presence; (ii) session and area check-ins when your badge is scanned or automatically detected at session rooms, exhibit halls, or designated areas and (iii) proximity interactions where proximity-based networking technology is active. If you do not wish to have your location or movement tracked, please notify Chainlink Labs staff at the registration desk. Opting out does not affect your ability to attend, though certain automated check-in features may be unavailable.
3.2 Lost Badge. If you have lost your badge, you will need to request a reprint at the Conference’s designated registration area before entry to the Conference.
3.3 Cancellation Policy. Please note, in the event that the Conference is abbreviated or canceled because of circumstances beyond Chainlink Labs’ control, including but not limited to civil disturbance, earthquake, electrical outage, pandemic (including developments of COVID-19), explosion, fire, freight embargo, strike or labor unrest, flood, hurricane, tornado, or other acts of God, or an act of war, terrorism, any government (de facto or de jure), any government agency or official or government shutdown due to funding lapse Chainlink Labs reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to unilaterally terminate the Conference. In these circumstances, you expressly agree to waive any claim you may have against Chainlink Labs for damages or compensation, including but not limited to fees for registration, housing, airfare, and/or incidental charges.

Chainlink Labs may disclose your personal data to third party service providers engaged by Chainlink Labs to assist in the conduct of the Conference (e.g. mobile application provider), and anonymized data may be shared with third parties.
4.2 Direct marketing. Chainlink Labs may, from time to time, share its latest news, upcoming events and latest marketing communications with recipients who choose to be included in Chainlink Labs email distribution list. With your explicit consent, we may use your name and e-mail address, so that you may be added to the Chainlink Labs email distribution list and be actively engaged with Chainlink Labs. Chainlink Labs will not share your personal data with any other third parties, other than Chainlink Labs’ affiliates. You will have the opportunity to opt-out from your email subscription at any time by notifying Chainlink Labs.
4.3 Scanning. You may be asked to have your badge scanned either at exhibit booths and/or at session rooms. When your badge is scanned by exhibitors and/or sponsors during the Conference, your personal data will be collected and processed by that entity in accordance with their privacy policy.
4.4. Sharing Contact Information. During the registration process, you will be given the option to consent to Chainlink Labs sharing your contact information with sponsors and exhibitors participating in the Conference. If you affirmatively opt in, you agree to allow Chainlink Labs to share your name, email address, job title, and company name with such sponsors and exhibitors. This data sharing is limited to sponsors and exhibitors and the use of your information is governed by their respective privacy policies. Chainlink Labs is not responsible for the data practices of any third-party sponsor or exhibitor following disclosure. This consent is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting Chainlink Labs at linknyc@chain.link.
4.5. Klik Smart Badge Technology. Your Conference badge may be enabled with Klik smart badge technology ("Klik"), a proximity-based contact exchange tool. By pressing the Klik button on your badge, you actively choose to share your pre-selected contact information (such as your name, email address, job title, and company name) with other attendees, sponsors, or exhibitors who simultaneously activate their Klik function. Exchanges occur only through your deliberate action; no data is shared passively or automatically. You may choose which contact details are included in your Klik profile via the Conference mobile application or registration portal prior to or during the event. You are under no obligation to use the Klik feature at any time. Contact information exchanged via Klik is processed by Klik's platform operator and may be stored and accessed by both parties to the exchange following the Conference. Chainlink Labs is not responsible for the data practices of Klik's platform operator or of individual Attendees, sponsors, or exhibitors who receive your information via a Klik exchange. Klik's data practices are governed by Klik's own privacy policy.

You acknowledge and agree that Chainlink Labs reserves the right to remove you from the Conference if Chainlink Labs, in its sole discretion, determines that your presence or behavior may constitute Unacceptable Conduct (as defined below). Unacceptable Conduct will not be tolerated by any Attendees, including guests, employees, speakers, or venue staff. Attendees asked to stop any Unacceptable Conduct are expected to comply immediately, and Chainlink Labs or venue staff may take any action they deem appropriate in relation to the Conference itself, up to and including expulsion from the Conference and prohibition from attending future conferences and events organized by Chainlink Labs.

Chainlink Labs reserves the right to deny admission to anyone who engages in or is reputed to engage in unethical or non-compliant marketing practices.

Any audio, photo, or video recording, live streaming, or broadcasting of any Conference session, keynote, panel, or programming — by any device or medium — is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of Chainlink Labs and a valid, Chainlink Labs-issued media pass. Attendees in violation of this policy will be required to permanently delete all unauthorized content on-site, and Chainlink Labs reserves the right to remove the Attendee from the Conference without refund, ban them from future Chainlink Labs events, and pursue all available legal remedies. 8. Miscellaneous
8.1 Chainlink Labs’ failure to exercise any right provided for herein shall not be deemed a waiver of any further rights hereunder. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts sitting in New York County, New York. You agree that these Terms are the complete and exclusive statement of the mutual understanding between you and Chainlink Labs with respect to the Conference and supersedes and cancels all previous written and oral agreements, communications and other understandings relating thereto.
