"Build on Solana" is a joint startup program by Chainlink Labs and the Solana Foundation that supports Web3 projects building on Solana through structured technical support, ecosystem incentives, and access to the Chainlink standard for onchain finance. At the end of the selection period, a minimum of three teams will be chosen to join the program.
The program enables Chainlink Build projects to make their native tokens claimable by Chainlink ecosystem participants, including eligible LINK Stakers. This gives early-stage and established Build projects new ways to further expand their community and extend their reach.

Chainlink Integration Focus: Projects that use or plan to use the Chainlink platform or products such as CCIP, CRE, Data Feeds, Data Streams, SmartData (AUM, NAV, POR), Automation, Functions, VRF, DECO, and more.
Solana Ecosystem Focus: Projects committed to making Solana their hub and building within the Solana ecosystem.
Early-Stage or Established Projects: Projects both new and more mature. Web3 initiatives looking to expand and refine their offerings within the Chainlink ecosystem.
Long-Term Ecosystem Alignment: Projects that see the value in close, continuous collaboration with the Chainlink and Solana communities.
Innovative Use Cases: Projects eager to push the envelope and unlock opportunities for onchain and offchain growth to solve real-world problems.
3-month application period: The Build program will be accepting applications for a specific amount of time, 3 months. The time can be increased if needed. Projects can apply through the Build on Solana landing page while applications are open.
Global and Remote-Friendly: Participation is not geographically restricted. Teams worldwide can join and receive remote support.
DeFi: Lending, derivatives, yield aggregators, insurance solutions, and more.
Consumer: SocialFi, gaming, NFT, retail-focused, and more.
Infrastructure: Services and tools enhancing Web3 development and operations, cross-chain interoperability, and improving reliability, availability, security, and confidentiality.
Emerging Use Cases: Any Web3 project that can benefit from the Chainlink standard with a compelling use case and that solves important problems.
Proven Platform: Chainlink is the standard for decentralized, reliable, and secure oracle services, including data, computation, and cross-chain interoperability.
Collaborative Ecosystem: You’ll gain access to a large, active community of enthusiasts, users, developers, node operators, and ecosystem partners.
Co-Marketing and Visibility: Participating in Build can bring significant exposure. Chainlink regularly highlights participating projects at events and on social channels.
Shared Economic Alignment: By aligning incentives (i.e., contributing a portion of the project’s total token supply), participants gain access to the most engaged and active Chainlink community members.
Program Duration: Participation in Build typically spans one year to allow multiple project lifecycle stages, including testnet and mainnet integration, and community and ecosystem engagement. Many projects stay actively connected even after initial milestones are achieved.
Success and Technical Guidance: Regular check-ins with a dedicated Success Manager and Technical Account Manager.
Co-Marketing and Showcases: Project spotlights on Chainlink community and social channels, speaking opportunities at Chainlink-hosted events, collaborative marketing initiatives, and community-building events.
Resources: Take advantage of discounts and expertise from premium technical and non-technical service providers, including security providers (e.g., auditors, monitoring, & alerting), infrastructure providers (e.g., RPC and cloud), development resources (e.g., technical consulting), and marketing and public relations experts.
Network Building: Access to Chainlink’s extensive Web3 and banking and capital markets communities, fellow Build project founders, and Web3 builders.
