Projects that were not built at the hackathon are not eligible to receive a prize. This includes projects that were built before the hackathon and projects that were submitted to past hackathons. We work closely with our partners and sponsors to filter out these projects.
Nothing, attendance is free.
1-5 people per team.
No worries! It’s helpful to have some software engineering experience, but it’s not a requirement. Projects often need designers, front-end engineers, project managers, and more. We will also have talks, workshops, and mentors to help you with your project. This is a great place to learn about all things blockchain and smart contracts.
As soon as the hackathon opens. To keep the playing field fair, we don’t allow teams to begin building prior to the start of the hackathon. If your project is an upgrade to an existing project, please check with us beforehand.
This event takes place online. The hackathon chat/support happens on Discord, workshops happen over YouTube, and projects are submitted through Devpost. We suggest you definitely attend the Gearing up for the Hackathon session.
Chainlink is the industry standard for building, accessing, and selling oracle services needed to power hybrid smart contracts on any blockchain. Chainlink oracle networks provide smart contracts with a way to reliably connect to any external API and leverage secure off-chain computations for enabling feature-rich applications. Chainlink currently secures tens of billions of dollars across DeFi, insurance, gaming, and other major industries, and offers global enterprises and leading data providers a universal gateway to all blockchains.
