Chainlink Quarterly Review: Q3, 2026

Q3 Highlights
- Institutional: Chainlink introduced Fulcrum, an end-to-end solution for institutional financing and collateral management across public and private blockchains. Announced a solution connecting banks to Swift’s blockchain ledger. Advanced capital markets infrastructure with DTCC, Bottomline, Infosys, and others.
- Cross-chain: CCIP 2.0 went live as $15B+ of value migrates to Chainlink, including assets from BitGo and the Wyoming Stable Token Commission. Nethermind migrated its infrastructure to Chainlink, while Aave, Coinbase, xStocks, and others expanded their use of CCIP.
- Government & policy: The Wyoming Stable Token Commission adopted Proof of Reserve, Hong Kong’s Tokenized Securities Framework selected CCIP and ACE, and CRE was showcased in the Bank of England’s Synchronisation Lab.
- Prediction markets: Chainlink powered fast market resolution and payouts for Polymarket, World, LBank, and others.
- Data & RWAs: Coinbase, Open Standard, United Stables, Lighter, and more adopted or expanded their use of Chainlink data infrastructure.
- Economics: The Chainlink Reserve surpassed 6 million LINK, Arc launched with Chainlink services live on day one, and SVR’s total recapture value reached $24.4+ million.
In Q3 2026, the Chainlink ecosystem built further momentum as the core infrastructure bringing global finance onchain. CCIP 2.0 went live with new security, compliance, and settlement controls, as more than $15 billion in token value migrated to CCIP in 2026 from issuers and protocols replacing legacy cross-chain providers, while CCIP became the most value-securing cross-chain solution, reaching $85+ billion. As more assets become easier to move across more networks, the focus is shifting to what institutions can do with them.
That fundamental rewiring of the financial system was one of the main stories at Sibos, where Chainlink introduced Fulcrum for cross-chain securities financing and announced a solution connecting banks to Swift’s blockchain ledger. Both address a similar, larger challenge for financial institutions: putting tokenized assets to work within the financing, collateral, and payment workflows they already use. Chainlink’s work with DTCC, the Bank of England, Bottomline, and Infosys is extending that approach across broader capital markets.
This growing momentum reached beyond institutional finance. Chainlink Co-Founder Sergey Nazarov spoke at the White House on tokenization’s impact on the American economy, while Chainlink’s work with the Wyoming Stable Token Commission and Hong Kong’s Tokenized Securities Framework extended its role in public sector assets and regulated markets. Across these use cases and growing markets for tokenized stocks, stablecoins, and prediction markets, Chainlink’s TVE surpassed $36 trillion in Q3 2026.
The following blog highlights the major product launches and industry adoption of the Chainlink platform since the 2026 Q2 Quarterly Review.

- Chainlink announced it is enabling financial institutions to connect to Swift’s blockchain ledger. The solution enables banks to seamlessly access the Swift ledger and manage their usage of smart contracts on both their own ledgers for tokenized deposits and the Swift ledger. At the center of the solution is a self-signing model for financial institutions enabled through the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE). Institutions retain control of the keys used to authorize transactions, while CRE orchestrates workflows connecting financial institutions to Swift’s ledger. [Announcement]
- Introduced Chainlink Fulcrum to connect the world's largest financial institutions to onchain financing. Fulcrum is a new end-to-end solution for institutional financing and collateral management across public and private blockchains. Built for the needs of the world’s largest financial institutions, Fulcrum is the first cross-chain repurchase agreement (repo) flow that separates the venue where a financing agreement is managed from the networks where cash and collateral settle. Through a single gateway, counterparties can choose eligible assets, set financing terms, and coordinate settlement across any supported chain, all without being locked into any one venue. [Announcement]
At Sibos 2026, DTCC’s Dan Doney and Sergey Nazarov presented how DTCC is collaborating with Chainlink to advance 24/7 collateral management. DTCC’s Collateral AppChain, a shared infrastructure platform for collateral, will leverage CRE along with the Chainlink data standard and is designed to support near real-time collateral management across financial markets and blockchains.

- The DTCC processed its first-ever production trades of tokenized U.S. securities, powered by Chainlink alongside 30+ major institutions. Chainlink orchestrated a live production trade where J.P. Morgan posted tokenized stock as collateral to satisfy margin requirements with CME Group, showcasing how Chainlink is bringing real-world utility to tokenized securities for DTCC and the world’s largest institutions. [Announcement] [Announcement]
- Bottomline enters into a strategic partnership with Chainlink to unlock cross-chain, cross-border payments for its 600+ bank customers. Through the partnership, Chainlink is providing interoperability via its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and orchestration via CRE, connecting the top-three Swift service provider’s existing payment infrastructure to public and private blockchains. The result is that Bottomline’s banks can continue using familiar ISO 20022 messaging to access onchain payment rails through a single, network-agnostic connection. Bottomline also launched Global Pay Connect, a new onchain payment connectivity platform for 600+ banks powered by Chainlink. [Announcement]
- Infosys enters into a strategic partnership with Chainlink to accelerate institutional onchain finance. The $40+ billion global IT leader supports critical banking and payments infrastructure for more than 1.7 billion customer accounts worldwide and is now standardizing the adoption of the Chainlink platform, including CCIP, CRE, ACE, Proof of Reserve, Data Streams, and Data Feeds. [Announcement]

- Chainlink participated in the Swift Hackathon Business Challenge, demonstrating how Swift messaging and Chainlink infrastructure can automate corporate actions for tokenized equities. Chainlink’s novel solution automates a cash dividend across four blockchains, starting from the corporate action announcement all the way through payment and final reconciliation, with no manual intervention required at any step. The solution leverages CRE to orchestrate the workflow and build a single ownership record across all chains; CCIP to deliver stablecoins or tokenized deposits across chains; Automated Compliance Engine (ACE) to verify each wallet for identity, sanctions, tax, and eligibility rules; and Data Feeds to provide the data needed to adjust the reference price at ex-dividend. [Announcement]
CCIP
- Chainlink launched CCIP 2.0, the interoperability standard designed to meet the security, compliance, and speed requirements of the world's largest financial institutions. CCIP 2.0 already powers all 1,040+ EVM-to-EVM CCIP lanes and introduces institutional risk controls, flexible settlement, always-on compliance functionality, and new tools to distribute assets across public and private blockchains, with messages landing in seconds after finality instead of minutes. CCIP is now the most value-securing cross-chain solution in the industry, reaching over $85 billion in total cross-chain token value in Q3 2026. [Announcement]
